Join us on Saturday February 15th between the hours of 10am to 2pm at Hammer and Stain Chambersburg (31 S Main St Chambersburg) for our DIY OPEN STUDIO Hours!


LAST SEATING WILL BE ONE HOUR PRIOR TO CLOSING.
If no one is present one hour prior to close, we may close early. If you are stopping by to pick up a project or gift certificate, please call to make sure we are in the shop. 

WHAT IS OPEN STUDIO?
Open Studio is workshop hours that are a walk-in version of our traditional workshops. We offer anything from our Permanent Jewelry, Succulent Bar, Perfume Bar, Wood Projects, Ceramics, Hammer & Friends (Critters & Squishies), our Candle Bar and our Hammered Hat Bar (make your own Wide Brim Hat or Trucker Hat) and Sea Glass Projects!


HOW DOES IT WORK?
  • Come to the studio during the hours listed (project times will vary on what you choose).
  • No registration needed however registering will save you a seat, otherwise it is first come first serve :) If registering to save seats, each person should have a registration. 
  • Select a project from the Open Paint Wall! We have something for everyone. Prices vary per project but will be between $5-$90.
  • Want to create a specific project during open paint? Browse our PROJECT GALLERY and reserve the project you'd like to create at least 3 days prior to the workshop.  We will have it ready for you at your registered time. 
  • Create! We walk you through the steps, you work at your own pace! Most projects take 45-90 minutes to complete.
  • You may also opt to have your project packed up as a Hammer @ Home Kit!
    • Includes your project(s) with all the supplies and instructions to create!

How to Register

  1. Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
  3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
  4. Add to Cart and checkout.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice.

Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
