What to Expect

When you arrive, your project will be prepped and ready to create. Your wood will be unfinished, and your custom, one-time-use stencil will be cut with the design you selected during registration.

You'll personalize your project using our large selection of stain and paint colors to match your style and décor.

Please Note: The design photos shown are examples only. Your finished project will reflect the colors and personalization you choose during the workshop.

A project purchase is required to attend.

How to Register

Select your preferred box style.
Choose your project design from the dropdown menu.
Complete the personalization form with the information needed to create your custom stencil.
Select the workshop date you plan to attend.
Complete checkout to reserve your seat.

Custom Design Information

Simple substitutions of words within an existing design can usually be made at no additional charge.

Requests for major design changes or completely custom artwork must be:

Submitted at least 7 days prior to your workshop.
Pre-approved by Hammer & Stain Chambersburg.

Approved custom designs are subject to a $25 customization fee.

This is a wood workshop so your sign WILL have random cracks chips, knots, and other NATURAL blemishes that give it it's characteristics! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional! Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be WALL worthy!

Cancellation Policy

Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not offer refunds. However, any amount paid may be transferred as a credit toward a future workshop. With the exception of any catered event or collaboration event with a guest instructor.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.
